The Highway Department maintains a total of 30.34 miles of Town Roadways. 23.8 miles of Town Roads are paved while approximately 6.5 miles are seasonal gravel roads.

The Highway Department plows, salts, and sands a total of 51.14 miles of roads during the winter months as they contract for 5.1 miles of State Road and 22.2 miles of County Roads. Approximately 3,000 to 4,000 tons of sand and 700 to 1,000 tons of salt is required to keep our roadways safe each winter.
